Summary
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. I do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. This site collects the minimum information a website needs to function, described below.
Server logs
Like nearly all websites, this site's server automatically records each request it receives. These logs include your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and operating system, and the site you came from if you followed a link.
This information is used only to understand general traffic patterns and to diagnose technical problems. It is not linked to your identity and is not shared with anyone. Log summaries are produced with Webalizer, a statistics program that runs on the server and does not place anything on your device.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own, and does not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
Third-party content and services
Some pages include content hosted by other companies, such as videos, virtual tours, gigapixel panoramas, and 3D models. Those services may set cookies or collect information when you view their content, under their own privacy policies rather than mine. Where the option exists, I use privacy-enhanced embedding to reduce this.
This site uses Adobe Fonts to display type. Adobe does not set cookies to serve fonts, but the font files load from Adobe's servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Adobe. Adobe uses this to operate the service and to account to the companies that make the fonts. Adobe's licensing does not permit these fonts to be hosted on my own server.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, I receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, and message.
Submissions are handled by Web3Forms, a third-party form service that filters spam and delivers the message to my inbox. Web3Forms stores submissions on encrypted servers for 30 days and then deletes them automatically, and uses third-party services for spam prevention. Their privacy policy and data processing terms are published at web3forms.com. The form does not use a captcha.
Email
You can also write to me directly at earthtotommy@gmail.com, which is a Google account and subject to Google's privacy policy.
Whether you use the form or email, I use what you send only to respond to you. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not share your message with anyone.
Links to other sites
This site links to websites operated by others, including Chandler-Gilbert Community College, the Maricopa County Community College District, and various third-party platforms. I do not control those sites, and their privacy practices are their own.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent me personal information through this site, please contact me and I will delete it.
Your choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and send do-not-track signals. Blocking content from third-party embeds may prevent some videos or interactive features from working.
